About Us

Valentina Silver is operated by Marjorie Torrance. A teacher and accountant in previous incarnations, Marjorie travelled to Mexico in 2003 where she lived for a few years. On her return to Scotland in 2006 she was keen to bring something of Mexico, so as well as her baby daughter Valentina, she brought back some samples of the beautiful silver jewellery she had begun to amass!

When she began to show the pieces to her friends, she was delighted that they loved it as much as she did and, a few silver parties under her belt and determined not to return to her previous professional life, Valentina Silver was born!
